The Opportunity

Community Support Incorporated is seeking to appoint voluntary Board Directors with experience in finance, legal governance and/or clinical governance. These appointments will strengthen the Board’s collective capability as the organisation continues to deliver high‑quality, community‑focused services in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Role Overview

As a Board Director, you will contribute to the overall strategic direction, financial sustainability and governance of Community Support Incorporated. Working collaboratively with fellow directors and the executive team, you will help ensure the organisation continues to meet its legal, financial and regulatory obligations while maintaining a strong focus on service quality and community outcomes.

Directors are expected to act in the best interests of the organisation and uphold high standards of governance, integrity and ethical decision‑making.

Skills and Experience Sought

The Board is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Financial Expertise

• Senior financial, accounting or audit experience
• Ability to interpret financial reports and contribute to financial oversight and sustainability

Legal Experience

• Legal qualifications or professional experience
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks

Clinical Governance Experience

• Experience in clinical governance, quality and safety, or service oversight within health, aged care, disability or community services
• Understanding of regulatory standards and continuous improvement frameworks

Previous board experience is welcome but not essential. Applicants should demonstrate sound judgement, strategic thinking and a genuine commitment to community wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly Board meetings and strategic planning sessions
• Contribute to governance oversight, risk management and organisational performance
• Provide specialist insight in finance, legal matters and/or clinical governance as relevant
• Support the development of a strong governance culture and effective board decision‑making

Time Commitment

This is a voluntary role involving approximately 11 Board meetings per year. Board Members will also participate in a sub-committee of the Board. Flexible participation arrangements are available, including hybrid and online attendance options.

About You and The Role

We currently have a permanent part-time opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer to join our growing team at our Wayville head office.

This role is primarily one day per week; however, flexibility is required, as during Board meeting weeks (approximately once per month) additional days will be required, with the successful candidate expected to work up to three days during that week. 

The Executive Assistant will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer. This role liaises with the Board, Executive Management Leadership Team, Service Managers, Staff, Clients and external organisations including government and community agencies.

Other key duties include:

• Greeting clients upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner and responding to queries online and over the phone.
• Assisting the broader Executive Management team and the Board when required

• Organising meetings, preparing agendas, minute taking and monitoring on progress 
• General administrative duties as directed.

Key Experience Required For The Role:

• Ability to utilise community data base applications

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to lead our Scheduling team in delivering exceptional workforce planning and rostering services across the organisation.

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day scheduling function, ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality support while maximising workforce efficiency and operational performance.

Leading a team of Scheduling Officers, you will provide coaching, mentoring and performance management, while fostering a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused culture. You will work closely with operational leaders to continuously improve scheduling practices, workforce utilisation, and service delivery outcomes.

This role is ideal for an experienced people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges and is passionate about leading teams that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

As part of the leadership team, you will also contribute to strategic workforce planning, continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of scheduling systems and processes.

Participation in an on-call roster may be required from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Scheduling team.
• Oversee the day-to-day rostering and workforce allocation function.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained to meet client needs and service requirements.
• Monitor scheduling performance, productivity and key operational metrics.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, Support Workers and internal stakeholders.

• Manage escalations relating to rostering, workforce shortages and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Awards, legislation, funding requirements and organisational policies.
• Partner with operational leaders to support workforce planning and organisational growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and customer experience.

About You

You are an experienced operational leader who enjoys empowering teams, improving processes and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

You are highly organised, solutions-focused and confident making decisions in a dynamic environment while balancing client needs, workforce capability and business priorities.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Previous experience managing rostering, scheduling or workforce planning functions.
• Strong understanding of workforce management principles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and make sound operational decisions.
• Experience using workforce management systems such as Salesforce, Skedulo or Lumary (highly desirable).
• Sound understanding of the SCHADS Award.
• Experience within disability, aged care, community services or the not-for-profit sector (highly desirable).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

About You and The Role

We’re seeking a dedicated Scheduling Officer to join our team in a permanent position. In this pivotal role, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service by effectively allocating staff to meet our clients' diverse needs.

You’ll communicate directly with Support Workers, clients, and families to keep them informed of roster updates and staffing changes. By building strong relationships with both staff and clients, you’ll help ensure the right people are matched to provide the best possible care.

This role includes one weekend shift every fortnight, with applicable penalty rates.

About You and The Role

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Support at Home (SAH) Package Coordinator, who understands the importance of offering quality support to our clients. We are looking for someone who is ready to contribute from day one and grow with us for the long term.

The Client Services Coordinator SAH plays a pivotal role in supervising a team of Support Workers working with clients and planning their programs to ensure they receive the support and services required to reach their individual goals. We are seeking someone with a clinical background or a social work background who would like to utilise their skills within the community also lead a team of Support Workers.

Other key duties include:

• Accurately and in a timely way, identify changes in client’s using the AWACCS instrument and other clinical procedures
• Escalate patterns identified in clients to CSI to manage client programs and develop policies and procedures and training program
• Manage, coach, and mentor Support Workers, ensuring clients and business needs are met
• Meet WHS compliance of Support Worker practice and ensure the work environment (client homes) is monitored for completion, action, and reporting as required
• Timely and effectively manage incidents and feedback
• Support the development of recruitment strategies to align with client requirements
• Writing reports and assessments relevant to participants care needs

Key Experience and Requirements Required For The Role:

• Diploma in nursing equivalent highly desirable
• Strong understanding of My Aged Care Support at Home Packages
• Person-centered (problem-solving), decision making and exceptional communication skills
• Strong supervision and leadership skills required
• High-level critical thinking and time management
• NDIS Workers Clearance Check
• DCSI/DHS Working with Children Check
• Current driver`s license
• Current Police Check
